The "Hand Trailer" (Cart).
You can build a "Hand Trailer" (Cart) to transport items.
Building a "Hand Trailer" (Cart)[]
Shows the items required to build the "Hand Trailer" (Cart).
Use your "Construction Hammer" and go to the "Outdoor" tab. Select the "Hand Trailer" (Cart) at the end of the row. Place a blueprint of the "Hand Trailer" (Cart) on the ground.
Add the following items to the blueprint you placed to build it:
- 15 x "Board" = Created at the "Processing Table".
- 8 x "Simple Parts" = Looted or created at the "Processing Table".
"Hand Trailer" (Cart) Storage[]

Approach from any of the sides except the front and press the "E" key to open the storage. The "Hand Trailer" (Cart) has a limited amount of space but can carry an unlimited amount of weight.
Moving the "Hand Trailer" (Cart)[]
You can move the "Hand Trailer" around with you by pulling it. Approach the front of the "Hand Trailer" (Cart) and press the "F" key to attach it to yourself when prompted (see the image). Once the "Hand Trailer" (Cart) is attached to you it will be dragged behind you. You cannot sprint whilst pulling the "Hand Trailer" (Cart).
To stop dragging the "Hand Trailer" (Cart) behind you press the "F" key.
Carrying a Back Pack and/or a Bag[]
You cannot carry a back pack or bag in your normal inventory but you can carry it in a "Hand Trailer" (Cart). Drag the back pack or bag on to the ground then position your "Hand Trailer" (Cart) very close to it. Open the storage ("E") on your "Hand Trailer" (Cart) and drag the back pack or bag into the cart from the nearby items list area.
