The "Seal Exhaust Machine" (Food Canning Machine) is an item in the "Technology" tree that can be unlocked to build a "Seal Exhaust Machine" (Food Canning Machine).
Once built the "Seal Exhaust Machine" is used to put food in metal cans so it lasts longer.
The "Seal Exhaust Machine" (Food Canning Machine) uses 2000 watts of electricity when canning food.
TLDR: You unlock the "Seal Exhaust Machine" (Food Canning Machine) in the "Technology" tree then you can build it with the "Construction Hammer" to can food to make it last longer.
Seal Exhaust Machine (Technology Tree)[]
The "Seal Exhaust Machine" unlock requirements.
Before you can make the "Seal Exhaust Machine" you first need to unlock it in the "Technology" tree. To unlock it you need the following items:
- "Electrification Grade 5" = See the "Skills" page for more information.
- "Engineering Grade 4" = See the "Skills" page for more information.
- "Mechanical Grade 5" = See the "Skills" page for more information.
- 1 x "Steel Ingot" = Craft at the "Electric Furnace".
Don't forget to build it within range of a "Battery" (table) as it requires electricity to operate.
Building the Seal Exhaust Machine[]
The "Seal Exhaust Machine" build requirements.
Once it has been unlocked, use the "Construction Hammer" and go to the "Synthesis" tab. Choose the "Seal Exhaust Machine" and place the blueprint. Add the following items to the blueprint to complete it:
- 1 x "Motor" = Found in loot containers in the world.
- 20 x "Simple Parts" = Loot or craft at the "Processing Table" or "Machining Table".
- 15 x "Delicate Parts" = Loot or craft at the "Machining Table".
- 9 x "Electronic Component" = Loot or craft in later game stages
- 9 x "Electrical Wire" = Loot or craft at the "Processing Table" or "Machining Table".
- 9 x "Rubber" = Loot or craft in later game stages.
- 5 x "Steel Ingot" = Craft at the "Electric Furnace".
- 2 x "Toolbox" = Loot or craft at the "Processing Table" or "Machining Table".
Using the Seal Exhaust Machine[]
After the "Seal Exhaust Machine" has been built use the interface as follows:
- "Electricity" tab = "Connect" the "Seal Exhaust Machine" to the "Battery" table.
- "Main Interface" tab = Create canned food.
Now you can create canned food by providing the food ingredients and an "Aluminum Ingot".
The "Seal Exhaust Machine" name can be set by using the text box in the upper right corner of the UI.
