Note: This page contains a brief overview of the Water Purifier. It will be expanded with more information over time.

Overview[]

In the later game stages you can build a "Water Purifier" which uses a "Filter Element" to purify water.

You can use the "Water Purifier" to:

  • Fill water containers with purified water.
  • Drink purified water without using a container.
  • Clean yourself.

It can be unlocked in the "Technology" tree once you acquire certain items and reach certain "Skill" levels (more information below).

It requires a connection to a "Water Storage Station" to work.

It is made using the "Construction Hammer".

Water Purifier (Technology Tree)[]

Before you can make a "Water Purifier" you first need to unlock it in the "Technology" tree. To unlock it you need the following items:

  • "Electrification Grade 3" = See the "Skills" page for more information.
  • "Mechanical Grade 2" = See the "Skills" page for more information.
  • 3 x "Charcoal" = Loot or craft at the "Charcoal Kiln".

  • 9 x "Delicate Parts" = Loot or craft at the "Machining Table".
  • 9 X "Charcoal" = Loot or craft at the "Charcoal Kiln".
  • 5 x "Rubber" = Loot or craft in later game stages.
  • 20 x "Plastic" = Loot or craft in later game stages.
  • 5 x "Steel Ingot" = Craft at the "Electric Furnace.
  • 2 x "Toolbox" = Loot or craft at the "Processing Table" or "Machining Table".

After the "Water Purifier" has been built you need to set the "Water Storage Station" that it will draw its water from. Interact with the "Water Purifier" to open the interface then go to the "Water Source" tab. Click the "Connect" button next to the name of the "Water Storage Station" you wish to use for water.

Finally, add a "Filter Element" on the "Main Interface" tab so it can purify the water making it safe to drink.

Using the Water Purifier[]

Interact with the "Water Purifier" to open the interface. If you have installed a "Filter Element" you can click the "Drink Water" button to drink clean water or drag a water container into the "Water Intake" slot.

You can also click the "Cleaning" button to clean yourself.
